Today my family are going to the zoo. I am so excited because this is the first time I have ever been to the zoo. I am so excited to see the tigers. “Kids, time to go!” Mum called out.
When we got there all I was saying was, “Mum, can we see tigers” and luckily she said yes.
When we arrived there my sister and I went to look over and then suddenly I fell.
“AAAAAAHH, HELP ME HELP” I could see my mum nearly crying. We were heading for the exit but the tiger was blocking our escape.
We landed on planet Catland in our rocket ship at the tiger village. We were going on a holiday.
“Hello, can I have a smoothie?” I asked.
“Raaa!” yelled a tiger. Oh no! The tiger was chasing us and trying to attack us! Oh no! The tiger was blocking our escape! We ran towards the ship faster than a cheetah. We took off trying to find a better planet to go on a holiday. “Hey! Look at that! It is a cute little super fluffy monkey!” I yelled. ”We must be getting close to planet Arctica! It is so cute!”
“Hurry up! We have to get there early to watch the tiger show. Come on, come on.” We have been going around the zoo for half an hour. Mum had to carry me around, but when we got close to the tiger enclosure I dragged her closer. I wanted to get front row to see all the action. Tigers were my favourite animal. The show started. Three minutes into the show the tiger escaped. We ran and were screaming our hearts out. The tiger was blocking our escape. How were we going to get past the tiger? We were doomed.
The tiger was blocking our escape, we couldn’t go around it because it was going to be risky. But then I had an idea. “See that vine over there near the river”, I said to Barry, “Take that vine and help me trap this tiger.”
Barry and I made a tiger trap out of the vine, some sticks and prickly thorn bush we found nearby. We lured the tiger away from the escape route and into our trap. The tiger let out a ROAR! It was now trapped and we now had a small opening for escape. Barry and I made a run towards the exit.
Oh no! The tiger was blocking the escape! James had thought he had lured the tiger a fair way away in the mansion but it was still there and just then James noticed something… The tiger was chained to the door! James sat concealed from the tiger. He knew that he would start hearing footsteps soon. He looked through his backpack. He had already used the magical displacer item earlier to get into this place. Then he thought the tape gun. “Of course!” He thought. He took the tape gun out of his bag and used it to distracted the tiger by shooting it and ran!
AHHHHH… people were screaming left, right and center and I knew why. The animals at the zoo had gone on a rampage.
“Where are the the animals?” I asked mum as my voice trembled. She didn’t answer.
“Mum?” I called out. She wasn’t there. My heart sank to the floor.
“What am I going to do now?” I asked myself.
The face of a tiger was looking at me and I was terrified. I ran as fast as I could and found mum. She didn’t greet me but she did notice me. We kept on running but then we stopped. The tiger was blocking our escape!
I was at the zoo with my family. We went to the tiger’s enclosure.
“Ummm Mum, Dad, that tiger doesn’t look too happy and it’s trying to get out.”
Ahhhhh! The tiger got out of the cage. I was so scared I was about to wet my pants.
“Let’s go,” I yelled at the top of my voice.
“We can’t!” dad said.
“Why?” I yelled.
“Because the tiger is blocking the exit!” mum yelled.
“We’re going to die,” I said in a scared voice.
“No we’re not,” dad said.
“I’ve got an idea. Let’s go through the broken window where the tiger got out.We can dig through with our hands to get past the tiger and escape!”
The day started with my family going to Werribee Zoo to see the animals. We went and looked around the zoo, I love the tigers so we spent a lot of time there. On our way out we just realised that we got locked into the zoo and everyone had gone home already including all the people that work there.
Then we heard a big noise, BANG! The tiger cage opened up, we ran as fast as we could to the exit. As we were getting closer we heard a big ROAR so we stopped running and looked at the outside and the tiger was blocking our escape!
My name is Molly, my mum is Amanda and my dad is Ben. My family and I all lived a normal life until one evening I was playing with my stuffed animals and soon an idea just rushed into my head. It was like electricity! I ran downstairs and said, “Mum, dad, I want to go to the zoo!” They said yes! We drove to the zoo. When we entered, I screamed, “Ahhhh there’s a tiger”. It was blocking our escape. We arrived home safely and I was too scared to go to the zoo ever since.
“Mummy,” I whined to mum pulling her coat, “Can I go to the tiger?” Mum gave me a grave look.
“Why!” Mum said shocked, “Because they’ll eat you all up,” she exclaimed. Mum looked at the tiger cage.
“THE TIGER SHOW WILL START IN 5 MINUTES,” a voice boomed across the loudspeaker. “Mummy can we watch the tiger,?” I asked.
“Of course darling,” mum had to shout a little because everyone was starting to walk into the stands.
Mum looked around and screamed because the tiger was over the fence biting people.
We tried to get to the exit but the tiger was blocking our escape!
